How are you doing on exercise?

Is everyone getting exercise in each week?

I do but know I need to do more. Like I was going to go to the gym all three days of the weekend, went only two... Fri. and Sat. Went out today (Sun.) instead of exercising. Know I need to do more at home to. Not losing, so know I need to increase.

How much do you all do? How do you make yourself do it?

All answers welcome!

Sure a lot of us would like to know.

Thank You!

I know I would love to hear some answers. I work two jobs from 7:30 am to 8:30 pm and when I come home, all I want to do is sit on the recliner and read. Don't burn too many calories flipping pages in a book! Walk the dog twice a day but that isn't enough. Have a great day.

Hi Belle & Jacki! I workout 5 days a week (Mon - Fri) by doing the 3 Mile Walk Away the Pounds DVD while holding 5 lb weights in each hand. It gives me a REALLY good workout. I also do 75 crunches using a stability ball. I can really tell the difference in my body. The DVD takes about 45 mins to do and then the crunches take about 10 mins. DH even told me the other day that he thought I could get a two piece swimsuit this year. I said yeah, a tankini! LOL My tummy is still too fat for anything else unless I get a "bra-like" top with shorts as the bottoms.

I need to get back to my exercise tapes. I do walk our track at work twice a day, so that gives me 30 minutes of walking total. But I need to clear the den back out and do those 15-min workouts in the mornings.

Belle now you have made me feel bad. I have missed my walking two days in a row. I try to walk between 2.5 and 3 miles 5 or 6 times a week on my morning break at work. Yesterday I was so tiered I slept, today I was having X-rays taken and didn't get to work untill it was to late.

I feel for you Jacki. I'm working 12/7. To work by 6:30 am and out at 6:30 pm.

I try to ride the stationary bike about 10 miles a day. I divide up my time with some in the morning, some at lunch, some before dinner and the rest after dinner. I usually take Sundays off though. I do stretches and some crunches every day or so. But the bike is my main exercise. DH rides it too and we both have shrunk over the last 2 months. icon_cool.gif

When I don't do the bike as much as I would like, I feel lazy and fat!!!

I exercise 5 times a week. I do 45 minutes of cardio combined with a weight training program. Once you start seeing results and hearing all the compliments, exercise becomes an addiction. In the summer I work out 7 days a week since I'm a teacher and have the whole summer off.
