Spa pass on Veendam?

We are new to Holland America and have enjoyed the spa on our last few NCL cruises. Does the Veendam offer a weekly spa pass? Do they have a private thermal spa suite with a sauna, hot tub, etc? Thanks.

Not having been on Veendam unable to say if hydro pool is in their spa, I do see thermal suites

Been on NA and they have both at $40 daily or $249 for a couple weekly we believe it was worth it ....

Was just on Veendam in December. Yes, they do offer weekly spa pass. However, unlike other HAL ships, the Veendam does not have the hydrotherapy pool. Their "spa" consists of the heated ceramic loungers. In that same room are steam rooms/sauna and a whirlpool. It is a nice spa and has a nice view but I really, really missed the lack of a pool.

Are you sure it is a whirlpool? The other R and S class HAL ships have small hydro pools that look like whirlpools (fit 4-5 people) but no whirlpool jets. If that is what you are referring to, it would be the same as we experienced on the Maasdam, Zaandam and Volendam. Its very basic and nice for a soak, but nothing like the hydro pools on the Vista class and larger HAL ships.

... and the view from the loungers is obstructed by a “deck” area instead of a peaceful sea-only scene.

Ithaca Gal. Did you graduate from Ithaca. I went to grad school there way back in 1987-88 for Physical Education. I was the graduate assistant Basketball coach for the men's team.

So does anyone know how much the Veendam charges for the spa pass for the week?
