The photography team, and the photo workshop, located in the old casino.

They have some lovely state of the art Apple Macs, but no internet access, in fact no guest work stations at all on the ship.

The new gym (old card room, so no bridge on these voyages), right next door to the HD’s office

And the Library. The wicker chairs have no cushions and are pretty uncomfortable.

Slipped into a Silver Suite on deck 6 when no one (apart from Wellseasoned) was looking.

Impressed with the way that two mid ships verandas have been used to make a Silver.

There is no tub though, just a very good rain forest shower. Apparently the hot water system is much improved.

Thx for the pics Mr. Silver. And, it's pretty cool that you got to see and spend time with WellSeasoned.

One question... do the Silver Suites basically have the same closet as a Veranda and don't get any extra space?

Not 100% sure, but it looked like there was quite a bit more space

Thanks for sharing the Cloud Expedition photos Mr. Silver. Hope Mrs. Silver and u had a good lunch with Dieter and Debbie. Did you enjoy some single malt I know he had in his suite?

It was a good lunch, but unfortunately a little early for the single malt.

Kinda what I was thinking!

Many years ago I had to fly to Bornholm (a tiny rock in the Baltic) for my sister's wedding. We flew on a red-eye from JFK-LHR (back in the day when they plied you with liquor even in economy) and landed at the crack of dawn to make our connection to Denmark. So of course, that was a great time to visit the Scotch shop in Heathrow Airport, and taste a few samples, at some ungodly hour when I should have been eating breakfast. A fine single malt tastes good even early in the morning with a hangover. It sure made me feel better!

Stumblefoot, with that attitude, I think we'll have a fun time together on our cruise. Nothing beats a good breakfast wine!

And thanks to Silver Spectre for this thread about your visit to one of our favorite SS ships. Too bad we don't get to see it firsthand until next August.

Haha! Amen JP!

Oddly enough, I’m on a BA flight right now taxiing to the runway to await departure. You should have seen the look the flight attendant gave me when I said I’ll have a single malt once we get airborne. Ah, yes, it’s the simple pleasures for me. We’ll definitely have a grand time in January, 2020.
