We willbe visiting Nassau on our upcoming Mariner of the Seas cruise for the first time. We will be there for whole day until 12 am. We would like to go to Atlantis for slides, beach, pool and aquarium

RC provide tour for 5 hours and atlantis has day pass for the whole day. Will we be kick out if we book with RC? Is better to book directly via Atlantis? Is safe to take taxi to Atlantis, we have one year with us.

Should we go pick a spot at the beach first then go to slide in the morning due to lines and go to aquarium later. Please advice.

You didn't mention when you are going.. but... during the summer months, pools open at 9am. Aquapark opens at 10am. Park closed around 6 in the summer... before 5 in the winter (it gets dark early). Similarly, the pools close around 6:30 in the summer. 5pm in the winter...……...So regardless of what time you are in port, the grounds close before dinner. Aquarium is open into the evening, but the lights are dimmed and some seasons hard to see.

Casino is open to all, but your 1 year old will not be allowed. Not much to do in the evening if you have little ones.

I'm sure it depends on timing, but we were there in May and Atlantis was virtually empty. No lines anywhere. Maybe it's not as popular anymore?

I wouldn't take a taxi with a one year old, that's for sure. Not in Nassau. However, there is an inexpensive ferry/water taxi that departs near the cruise port and drops off at Atlantis, which is what I would recommend.

If you are traveling with a 1 year old, you will not be able to enjoy much other than the beach and if allowed, the pool. The baby won't know what the Dig is all about. You can't take the child on the slide as it's too steep and both of you will go under the water. Taxi's make their money on us tourists. I've never had an issue, just need to be a little patient while they try to fill up a van. I usually threaten getting out if they don't leave within 10 minutes. Walking around inside on your own with the little one in a stroller might work. There is also "private" beach excursions by 3rd party vendors (which we may take on our next visit). Just not sure of Bahamian water temperatures in February. I've been in September and later in the Fall.

It is very expensive to go there on an excursion. We book a room at the Comfort Inn, Nassau. It is right across the street from the Atlantis. You get FULL use of the the parks, beaches etc and a lot cheaper. We check in, get our wrist bands and never even go to the room. But if you have a little one, this may be a really good option. Note that there are alot of added fees on the reservation, so click "book a room" to see the final price. Still much cheaper than the ship and you get to use it as long as you want. If the ship gets in early, they will still let you get your wrist bands until "check in"

How far of a walk is it from CS to the pool/beach area?

Its basically across the street. But remember the Atlantis area is HUGE so depending on where you want to put your things for the day, it can be a haul no matter what. We personally like to hang out by the lazy river and it is on the other side of the resort. I would call them just to verify everything if I were you. I called to make sure we could go ahead and get our wrist bands even though check in time wasnt until 3 or 4. I dont like to take chances.

20 minute walk. It's not "that" big of a resort. But the area you want to go is on the opposite side from the Comfort Suites. It's far enough that you wouldn't want to go back and forth to just run inside for something. The beach you'll want to use (Cove) and waterpark are in the same area with plenty of concessions around every corner.

If you want to see all the aquariums and what not, there is one that's a bit hidden, the predator tank. If you go to the Lagoon Bar (it's the big seashell looking bar in the middle of the lagoon, can't miss it) - but literally right in the middle of it are stairs down to the glass tunnel and more tanks. The main aquarium section is "The Dig" which can be access near the Ben and Jerry's by the pool, there is an entrance or inside down stairs from the main lobby.
