Conquest - Spa Deck Balcony Pros/Cons?

Hi cruisers,

My H and I will be taking a cruise in March 2016 aboard the Conquest. This will be our fifth with Carnival, but we've never been on the Conquest before. Previously, we were in a spa room (on spa deck) and had some extra goodies (access to certain pools, spa products in stateroom, etc.), but it seems that the rooms on the spa deck aboard the Conquest are the same as any other stateroom.

My question is this - are the balconies on the Conquest better/worse than other balcony rooms? I've read some reviews that say the spa deck balconies are subpar because people are able to look onto your balcony from above, and some seem to indicate that there are certain spa deck balconies that have a type of plexiglass overhand. Could anyone give me more information on this? H and I want a nice, balcony room and like the idea of being so close to the gym.

But, one reviewer said that drainage from cleaning the decks above often leaked down onto their balcony while on the spa deck.

If there are certain cabins that have a complete overhand on the spa deck, could you please share the cabin numbers?

No roof on the deck 11 balconies. These used to be larger 'family staterooms' with large floor to ceiling Windows and a sitting area. That was cut off to become deck... You very much can be seen from above.

I have stayed in one only once since the conversion. Don't like.
