Excursions: Amazing Race/ Clear Kayak + Snorkel

We will be in Cozumel for the 1st time in April with our 11 & 13 year olds. We are looking for feed back on the Amazing Race excursion and they've also mentioned they would be interested in kayaking. Is the Kayak excursion in calm water?

We did the Amazing Race Cozumel a couple years ago. Our kids were about 11, 13, and 15 at the time. We had a blast! We raced against only 3 other teams, but apparently there were over a dozen the day before. If my memory servers me correctly, we were told we covered around 4 miles and the whole thing took us only about 2 hours. We won. ;-) I don't want to give anything away, but it was challenging enough yet we didn't feel like we couldn't figure things out either. It was very well organized and we felt very safe the whole time. I definitely recommend it! We booked it through Viator, because we were sailing RCI and they didn't offer it.
