Shore Excursions Group

Could anyone tell me if they have used this group and if you recommend? Thanks

Shore excursions group is a reseller, they do not operate any tours themselves. Your experience will depend on the company they contract with for your particular tour.

We've used them a couple of times in various places. In one case the guide was excellent but they crammed us into a small van for a very long and bumpy ride. In another case they crammed us into a small van with a terrible guide who mumbled the whole time and didn't seem to be professional at all. Like she was someone's sister filling in or something, and she'd never been a guide before.

YMMV, but I've decided not to bother with them. I prefer to book directly with vendors who get good reviews here and on Tripadvisor.

We have used them. Many travel agents use them and they have excursions in most ports. Might be a middleman but the two excursions we took last week for pretty well run. Similar to the cruise line excursions. Remember the cruise line is just a middle man as well even though they may have a crew person helping to move the group they hire companies to run the excursions.

We used them for a sunset cruise in Honolulu. Upon checking in at the desk, discovered that they charged 50% more than if we had booked directly with the tour operator.
