I'll be honest with you. This is the last place I was expecting a Whovian reference. (That would be the Doctor, not the Cindy Lou's people from the end of the the Grinch.)

Not just your opinion, KK. I don't like it either---too 'loud'. I have loved HAL's quiet elegance all these years, but it appears the leadership wants to take the line in an entirely different direction. Not my style.

 

I agree; the Westerdam atrium is not to my taste. A lighter, brighter concept is fine but the furniture looks ugly and uncomfortable, the paintings don't fit with the overall design and that carpeting looks like it is out of someone's basement rec room. I'm sorry to say that I would give that design an F.
