Constellation - Tendering

I just wondered if anyone has any recent experience with tendering on the Constellation? Are they still issuing tender tickets on the morning of the tendered port, and if so, where are they issued? We were on the Millennium last year and we had to queue for tickets in the shopping area, and just wondered if it's the same on the Constellation? Thanks.

We were on the Constellation last September. Tickets were issued at a table put up in the shopping area. If you were happy to take a later tender it wasn't always necessary to have a ticket.

Elite and above were given priority tendering on our B2B in Jan/Feb this year. We had to meet the Captains Club host in a bar and were then escorted down to the boats.

Yes, that’s been happening for a few years now rather than the steward handing out the priority tender tickets as was once the case ;).

It makes a difference if ships boats or a combination of ships boats and shore based tenders are used as to whether one needs tender tickets. We tendered into Santorini and shore based tenders were used. It was just a matter of going ashore when one was ready as in nearly all instances there was a tender waiting or about to tie up.
