Crystal Symphony casino question

Got an offer through URComped and I haven't booked yet but am considering it. I've only cruised Carnival up til now so looking to branch out, but finding that practices vary from line to line.

How do the slots in the Crystal casinos work? Is it similar to Carnival? With Carnival, I use my Sail & Sign card in the slots to track my play and draw down money from my onboard account for use in the casino.

I like to put my casino play on my credit card attached to my onboard account because (1) it helps me keep track of what I've spent, and (2) when it is billed at the end of the cruise, it is billed just as an onboard purchase, not a cash advance, so I avoid cash advance fees. Oh and (3) I carry some money with me when I travel, of course, but I don't like carrying a large amount of cash, so being able to put everything on my shipboard card is convenient - and safer.

So I've looked around all over the place and cannot find out whether Crystal uses a similar system or not. Will I need to just use cash in the casino, or can I charge everything to my onboard card? And for that matter, is there an onboard card used to get in and out of cabins, make purchases, etc.? These may seem like obvious questions for experienced Crystal cruisers, but for newbies, it's hard to find answers to questions that everyone seems to take for granted. clear.png?emoji-halo-1683

Is URCompted only using Royal Caribbean now? I only seem to be getting discounted offers with them now.

Not sure, but this was my first Crystal offer. I also have a RCCL offer, and have had NCL offers in the past. You can try uploading images of any new comps you've received lately. That could create more offers for you.

I am still debating whether or not to divulge my host info (from Vegas) but have signed up and rec'd offers already from Celebrity and RCCL. Do any of you that are experienced players that are members of this "comp" group feel that there is any downside from having your casino host know that you are also looking at gambling elsewhere? Just paranoid probably.....and I do get comps that are e mailed to me but they in NO way indicate the entire scope of my total comps as I just call my host when I am ready to go to Vegas and am comped a Tower Suite, all the limo transportation that I want/need, meals, etc. So I do not want to mess up a "good" thing but AM curious as to venturing out as I am beginning to tire of NCL's CAS a bit.....

So any of you with advice/opinions on the above please chime in!

I have the same questions regarding crystal. I booked through urcomped a crystal cruise in Asia. It will be my first.

I'm a regular cas NCL mid to high level player. And with them I charge to my credit card and the 3% fee is waved so I really like that. And no extra credit card fees, just like a regular purchase.

I tried a Hal cruise through urcomped and the casino was to small and I had to ask for comp drinks all the time. So for now ncl and try out crystal.
