Can I make this flight?

Domestic or international?

Assuming domestic, you'd want to be there by 11, preferably earlier. It's a 45 minute trip if all works in your favor so you'd want to be off the ship by 10, which is likely the latest they'd kick you off anyway.. Could you make it? Probably. Would I do it? Not a chance, but I like to get to the airport really early. Is there a later flight you can take?

If the ship is late arriving or clearing, you're SOL. Also if there's traffic or an accident or any delay, I think it's cutting it too close.

I don't fly out of JFK unless I have to and I'm not THAT far away (90 minutes) but I've never made it in under 2 hours.

If it's an international flight, I'd say no way.

Concur about a fair to good chance of making a domestic flight out of JFK at 12:30 pm and getting there by 11 am, weather & road/traffic conditions permitting AND ship is early/on-time, minimal delays with CBP.

Assuming you are in Haven & can do VIP escorted, express self walk-off, you "could" be off the gangway by 8 to 8:15 am, breeze thru luggage hall (use porter services ... save you easily 15 to 30 minutes vs. regular lines for inspection/exit).

JFK is a flat rate with yellow taxi, porter will help get you to the taxi pickup area as they know the fast track being "insiders" working the port - $53 plus toll + tips to the airline terminal. Especially early Sunday, 45 minutes might still be a little close, 1 hour is better as the Queens Midtown Tunnel has been closing 1 tube on weekends lately and using the other remaining tube, one lane traffic each way only - so it can backup badly as the morning progress.

Yeah, we never use JFK either. It's domestic. The later one isn't until 6, but we can just take the 4pm out of EWR. Thanks.

Can we make a 12:55 domestic flight out of LGA on Sunday after a week on the Escape? ...

You "should" make it, that would be my conditional reply without knowing your specific date (as # of ships docked could affect ground traffic in front of the Pier 88/90) and whether there are exceptional local events in NYC (i.e. we are actually coming home on Marathon Sunday ... and heading home to Queens, about 4 miles NE of LGA but likely via a different & longer route to best avoid most traffic restrictions & detour).

Other unknown variables - whether the Escape will be arriving back early/on-time & ready for Express Self-Walkoff by 7:45 to 8:15 AM, whether you can manage luggage yourself & plan to join the herd, usually in the hundreds with the same idea to be among the "first" to be off the ship; or, whether you will have escorted priority disembarkation (Haven) or otherwise have VIP status to the gangway ... how long are the lines for CBP inspection (recommend, strongly, use porter's services for their fast track, well worth the "extra" cash tipping. Weather & general traffic conditions permitting and congestions being reasonable.

Once you are outside on 12th Avenue and inside your taxi (metered fare) or car service (flat rate) plus toll - travel time is about 30 to 45 minutes, cruise terminal to airline terminal's curbside dropoff. TSA Pre-Check not always open even if you qualified for it, best to plan to be at LGA no later than 90 minutes before departure (11:25 am) - leaving the cruise terminal by 10:30 to be safe.

Thanks! We are coming back Sunday October 14. Don’t have priority anything but may be able to handle or baggage or hopefully be in the first group after self embarkation. Will definitely use a porter! Would Dial 7, NCL transfer or a taxi be faster?

Arriving to Cape Liberty in the Summit Sunday Oct/21, booked AA from JFK to DFW at 2:56PM. Will I be on time?

Celebrity does not sell transfer to JFK:mad:, thinking about alternative options: how is the availability of taxis? or how long does it take a UBER to pick you up from the moment you request it?

You are going from NJ to NY. Book a large regional car service like Dial7 or Carmellimo that has a large fleet operation serving all the area airports. Don't use Uber. You can get transportation from the Cape Liberty Taxi Dispatcher, but these are local "livery" cars based in Bayonne and you don't know what you'll get. These cars would have to deadhead back to NJ as would an Uber driver most likely,

You can get online quotes. Expect to pay a base price plus tolls ($15-20) plus 18-20% tip on the base price. The trip should be in the $120+ range.

Uber should be fine. Or try Airbrook car service.
