Does Norwegian - Pride of America stop at Kona now ??

We are scheduled to take the Aug 11 cruise and just recently after reading the cruisecritic boards and other external news - it seems they don't go to both Hilo and Kona on the big island. I called Norwegian and they seem to indicate they go to both ports - this is very confusing honestly

For folks who have taken the cruise recently in June with Norwegian, appreciate if you can chime in

We were just on the June 23rd sailing and stopped at both Hilo and Kona.

Well it was in Kona yesterday and both Hilo and Kona ports show it on the schedule for visits the rest of the year.....I'd say your first post is wrong.

They cancelled the stops for a few weeks, but are back to visiting both Kona and Hilo at the moment. Of course this is all about the activities of the volcano and could change again. We are booked in January and fingers crossed will make it to all the ports.

I am an independent tour guide living in Leilani Estates. The ships are stopping at both ports, Hilo and Kona. The air quality on the Hilo side is usually very good. Sometimes, on the Kona side, there will be haze (vog) in the sky but it shouldn't be an issue. Even though Volcanoes National Park is closed, you'll have a fantastic time...there is so much to do here.
