Nautica Specialty Restaurants

I think Nautica was scheduled for dry dock earlier this month. Does anyone know if the specialty restaurants were changed to Tuscan Steak and Red Ginger?

I was on the Nautica this summer and the restaurant mgr still didn’t know. He didn’t think so, but just didn’t know. We’re on her again in February, so would like to here a report after she sails.

We're on her in April, hope Toscana and Polo stay.

Not entirely true. Got notice, last week, that all of the ships are converting over to Jacques Bistro Menu in The GDR for lunch. So perhaps no Ted Ginger conversion, but other changes.

But the full restaurant on the O class ships is just "Jacques"

Which to me suggests something less formal

It's not the lack of formality that bothers me - i's the unexciting menu. We tried it once on Sirena and that was enough for me - and that's from someone who LOVES the real Jacques on O class ships.

We are with Paul. Jacques is our favorite restaurant on the "O" ships but the Bistro version is a poor copy. It gives you a small sampling but it's not at all the same thing. (When we've been to bistros in France, they are more casual restaurants.)

Completely agree. Limited menu is uninspiring. We head for waves or terrace

Maybe the Bistro is supposed to be lighter fare

We do not care for Jacques except for dessert ;)
