Whalers Museum - Whalers Village

Hi, my husband and I are booked on the Grand Princess Hawaii cruise (10/29/17). I am trying to find out if the Whalers Museum that used to be located at the Whalers Village Shopping Center in Maui will ever open again. Did it relocate somewhere else?

The last I read it's been permanently closed & not reopened anywhere else...sad but it's probably another decision based on money.

Here's a list from Travel & Leisure magazine about the top Maui museums which hasn't been updated since the Whalers Village Museum's closed.
