Single Traveler

I know that as a single traveller it cost me a little bit more.

BUT

Went to TUI,to cost a Balcony Cabin in June on Discovery, had already researched the cost for 2 adults and it was 3494, so expected a price around 3000, guess what the quote was 6800, how do they justify that. Guess what i did not book

Did you contact them ask them about the price. It may have been a mistake. 🤔

I have sailed solo, and unfortunately you are also paying for your invisible friend.

Typically it is slightly less than double occupancy, though I have heard some lucky people getting it for 75% of double occupancy.

Contact and enquiry was direct to tui (marbella Cruises)

It does seem excessive. Who else have you tried. Some cruise lines have single cabins now like NCL for example.

Just felt that tui was being excessive

You are paying for the total cabin, just as you would in a hotel. Cruise lines quote double occupancy whilst hotels generally quote by room.

Please reread what is written, the tptal cabin price for two people occupying the cabin was 3400

I just checked TUI Denmark. They have a slightly lower price for a cabin for a solo than the total price for two in the same balcony cabin. Checked RCI, dep Copenhagen for Norwegian Fjords, May 6th.

Usually, you have to pay for 2 in the cabin but only one person port fees and taxes
