Reserving Entertainment on Explorer

I see a lot of posts about reserving entertainment. I will be on Explorer in May. Do I need to watch my cruise planner to make reservations or is it a small enough ship that they don't offer that option?

No pre-cruise entertainment reservations on Explorer.
