How to link dining reservations for 14 on Explorer

Recommended Posts

I can only link 10 people online. We would like to all (14) eat together on the second night of our cruise. Do we just wait until our first night to try to make the reservation or is there someone I could call or email? We made our cruise reservations through Expedia if that makes a difference.

I had great luck last year getting 50 people in the same area. We all had different travel agents so no one agent would do it. I emailed rcldining@rccl.com. I sent them all our names and reservations and they put us in the same corner of the dining room for late standard seating. We have never done my time so I don't know if they would do the same for that. They don't have any 14 tops so you should get an 8 and 6 next to each other.

With 14 in your party, you can request two tables of 7 and rotate each night if My time Dining. Never tried with Main dining since we never had a large group dining together. We joined friends of ours and their family in July and had 3 tables next to each other. Some rotated some didn't. Largest table seats 10 ( 2, 4, 6, 8 & 10 )

You say you all want to eat together the second night - I’m assuming you all have MTD, right? If so, make the arrangements the first day.

Yes, just the one night -not every night. We all have MTD. I'm fine with waiting until the first day as long as that's not not "too late".

Thanks!

I'm curious about how you are planning to handle FNDR with 14 people. I've been considering it with 12 but I'm worried about being able to get the whole group into the same restaurant together. I considered booking for 10 and 2, and then trying to handle whatever comes up onsite. Alternatively, could do 6 and 6, with potentially needing to switch one reservation to a different restaurant onsite (would 6 be easy to switch)?
