I'm looking at the extended

Balconies on deck 7 of Carnival Pride in the area of 7168 through 7202. I cant.find any information on these vs regular balconies. Does anyone know what the difference is?

Wider or deeper? The deck plan appears as though the rooms are the same width but deeper

We were in an extended balcony cabin on the Pride in April, in fact we had 4 in a row between our group. We liked that they were deeper than other balconies, giving us more room to move around. We had the balcony divider opened between our room and our children's room, which made an even nicer situation! We had 4 chairs and 2 little tables and a huge balcony :) The only thing that I didn't really love was the long walk down the hall and the fact that we had life boats below. Not a huge deal either way, but I definitely prefer being closer to stairways and elevators. We were in 7168 and 7166, with my parents and grandparents in 7170 and 7172.

Yes, deeper, definitely deeper than standard balconies.

Looking straight down you will look at water. Since 7244 is just before the extended balcony group a slight look to your left will be looking at the lifeboats. Look up Carnival Pride Deck Plans and you can see where you are in relation to everything.

Anyone know what the best deck is to stay on? I heard deck 7 is right below the dinning so you hear chairs moving around, is this true?

Deck 7 is fine. There are cabins on 8 so no dining noise.

Lido is on deck 9.

in laws had an extended balcony in june. it was wider and bigger

We had an extended balcony 6232 and it was gigantic. The balcony was the size of three rooms.

We had extended balcony 7258, and it was enormous! There were 2 regular chairs, 2 side tables, and 2 loungers...with room to spare! Loved it!

we actually had a balcony room and in teens an interior room (they connected) and the balcony was longer than a standard balcony but listed as standard. 6115
