Is This A Good Deal?

I thought this looked like a great deal for a family cruise. I'm not crazy about the itinerary but I love the Oasis.

7 Night Eastern on Dec 16 2018 for 2 in an 8D category for total of 1582 including taxes and port fees.

Is that a good deal or is it cheaper because of the itinerary?

It could be better. They had around that price on at least a few oasis cruises on black friday. But they also came with a $300 on board credit.

Wow, that would have been fantastic to get 300 OBC. I was on a cruise on black Friday so I didn't get a chance to do much shopping. I did just get an additional 75 off just now because they just added another promotion.

I am thinking of moving my reservation to a big box TA that will give a cash back card.

<$100/day/per person for a balcony is a really good deal. You're a little above that figure.

We are booked on Oasis this coming April. Also doing eastern Caribbean except we are doing Labadee, San Juan til 2pm, and St. Maarten.

I booked 5 cabins yesterday and then I was up late last night and checked the prices and saw the instant savings. The savings was 75 per cabin but I only net about 50 saving per cabin because they took the savings and then the 30% so 30% was little less than before instant savings. But I will take any savings, they add up.

Nope- The rate with the D+ discount is $1406, $122 less than the rate for a first time cruiser

Yes, balcony discount starts at Platinum, 30 points.

Maybe I'm biased because any date I search is during peak season when the kids are off school. That being said for a balcony room that sounds like a steal.

BOOK IT.

Worst case the price drops and you can rebook at a lower rate.

Me too Here's a screen shot. AND this is a refundable rate. When I called this morning the non refundable was a couple of hundred dollars higher, obviously a glitch someplace There is no option on their site for the non refundable, it is only showing the refundable rates. I am thinking that they might catch that shortly

The difference between the $1528 and the $1418 from your TA is the $110 savings for your cruise credits whatever they are.

I got $300 obc on a normal balcony. Actaully it was 8d just like the op was asking about.

We booked the Oasis 12/16/18. Day after Thanksgiving Great Price $1100 (total for 2, inc taxes and fees) for a CP balcony . Plus $100 OBC.

I believe the reason for the low prices is the disembarkation date being so close to Christmas. Air fares will be expensive and Traffic should be a nightmare. We only have to drive to northeast Florida So we can deal with it.
