LIVE Suite Life Harmony Eastern September 15

Was there any problems having the kids in the lounge? We are sailing in a GS in December with our 7 & 8 year old and was wondering if they would be welcome.

Children are welcome in the Suite Lounge. I don’t think some people care much for children in the Suite Lounge But this was one of the reasons Royal went to Suite Lounge from Concierge Lounge. Suite Guests asked for that change.

I’ll get you in. [emoji1787][emoji23]. Just pick up the house white phone and have me paged.

Check out post #20

Pinnacle trumps Sky. [emoji6]

Seriously though, what's the point of making those doors secure if all Suite guests and maybe Pinnacle guests can open them.

Obviously it's the same programming as the SL and CK doors.

I just noticed this from post #20. Aren’t people required to check in luggage or are they calling these big bags carryon?

That's pretty much how I walked aboard the Harmony. Next size up from carry on size bag for an airplane. Small bag with 12 pack of water and a back pack.

I must say the ship is beautiful. The SL/CK staff is awesome. I do feel the experience was diluted this time by those enjoying CK/SL who did not pay for it (pinnacles). It really should be reserved only for those who paid for a $uite.

I’m sure your not the only one who feels this way. It is named the Suite Lounge.

We have not witnessed the things you have mentioned in the SL/CK But we typically haven’t sailed in the P season. We also don’t have young kids either. I can imagine some of the looks one would have for having kids in the SL. Many many posts on CC complaining about kids. I personally don’t mind kids in the SL.

We have had issues on ships with a CL but those were not typically P, but D+.

Appreciate the good review and look forward to the rest. Wishing you the best.

Last week we had Pinnacles each night drinking with us in the Diamond Lounge overflow bar. They liked hanging with us Diamond and Diamond plus folk. [emoji3]

Where is the overflow for d lounge on harmony? Just wondering since it is down on deck 4, is it close by or on another deck? Oasis and allure used to have d overflow in blazes.

And the same programming as the gates to the suite sundeck. Those doors to the loft suites self prop when fully opened and I am constantly pulling them closed behind me unless it is clear that the crew had opened them for some reason. They are a deterrent to wayward guests but not a secure barrier by any means. They also cut down noise in the corridor when they are closed as I think they normally should be.

Yes. The boss likes the GS better on Harmony than Allure/Oasis because of that Wall separation .

I like the wall idea as well. Separation for many purposes, noise etc..

Andrew, they loved it. So would Owen. Save the money from the Star Loft which we almost did and happy we didn’t.

Glad they had a blast. Next cruise O man stays home and Lisa and I are in a CLS. I always need a view of the flow line though.

Never been in GS ever except for a tour but the raised tub always seemed awkward. Other than the caulk issue the tub seemed to be good for you all. I guess the kids might still have a bath VS a shower as well. AC worked well for you? How about the mattress, rock hard or decent.

Enjoy the final day and thanks for bringing us along.

Kids prefer a bath most of the time and even the 2 year old has been able to climb in and out of the tub with ease. The tub can ABSOLUTELY be an issue for someone with mobility issues.

Bed is firmer than what we have at home but we’ve had no issues with it. I believe there is a mattress pad on it. I’ll check and let you know.

On our upcoming Symphony cruise I booked 2 side by side GS for 7 of us (mom, MIL and FIL). With the balcony divider open we should have quite a nice set up.

Yes. It's in the bar/ club "The Attic" across the hall from the Diamond Lounge.

Andy, thanks for the feed back. Owen loved the bath until he was five, after that the shower was king. The 2 GS side by side should/will work perfectly.

Forgot to ask, did you get the wrist bands?

Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

We got wrist bands on our April cruise. They were in our cabin when we arrived. We wore them for a bit the first day but found them to be a pain especially with the Drink Package and Casino.
