Where is it better to kayak , Ketchikan or Skagway?

This is my itnarery:

Tue Juneau, Alaska 2:00 PM 10:00 PM 0

Wed Skagway, Alaska 7:00 AM 8:15 PM 0

Fri Ketchikan, Alaska 6:00 AM 1:30 PM 0

Sat Victoria, British Columbia 6:00 PM 11:59 PM 0

Sun Seattle, Washington (Flight Departure) 7:00 AM ---

I really want to dog sled on a glacier, and it seems the only place to do that is Juneau. I also want to Kayak to see as much wildlife as possible. Which is the best port for Kayaking? If it's Juneau, which is the second best in case I prioritize the dog sledding?

Ketchikan is the best port for kayaking.

Another vote for Ketchikan. If you get an early tour, You should still have enough time to walk Creek Street, Married Man’s Trail and see the Fish Ladder.
