Great list and yet still soooo many more choices, it’s the most beautiful and diverse place on earth because it has everything! I only saw South Island and got to a lot but yearned for more time.

 

Get there any way you possibly can :cool:

It would have been taken from the bush walk on the harbour side of the building.
I agree that it was on the harbour side of the building, but I think it must have been from somewhere in this green area: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Museum+of+New+Zealand+Te+Papa+Tongarewa/@-41.2902285,174.7830727,221a,35y,270h/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x9a409ffce82d9a30!8m2!3d-41.2904563!4d174.7820894 - look at the turret-shaped feature, and also the end of the canopy structure that runs along the south side of the building and shades the open-air car park beneath it.

 

But most of all, I'm impressed that anyone found an angle that could make the building look remotely like it did. The first time I've ever seen such a photo of Te Papa.
