SS and SY signature suites on Westerdam

:confused:What actually is the difference between the category SS and category SY signature suites on the Westerdam? Yes, they are on different decks, but otherwise? Many thanks to those who have expert knowledge.:)

 

It's strictly location. Otherwise they are the same as far as layout and size.

SS are usually quieter due to nothing "noisy" above them....but check out the deck plans to see what cabins you are considering...remember the noisy parts of the ship are the Lido which is right above all the SYs. The SSs have only cabins above. (For the little price diff...go with the SS)

We've had cabins below the carpeted part of the Lido (the aft half) which weren't noisy, and would not hesitate to book again. We like the convenience of being just one flight of stairs from the Lido deck.

Ditto this! We like to book the SY's aft of the midship elevators.
