ms Westerdam in Juneau September 13, 2018

Westerdam will be at the CT dock from 0800-1800.

Not as nice a day as we have been seeing this week but not as bad as some of the days we have seen this summer. There is a 40% chance of rain but it is mainly going to be occasional showers in the afternoon. High will be 61F/16C and the low 43F/6C. Sunrise is at 6:23 am and sunset at 7:23 pm.

The only other ship in port is Norwegian Jewel at the AJ dock from 0700-1315.

Next up: Zaandam and Volendam on Friday (last time we will see both in Juneau this season).

We also have the Zuiderdam in New York (Brooklyn due to damage from Carnival Horizon incident) with MissG aboard. There may not be a lot to see since departure is 8PM.

If she comes around 7 am AST I should be able to see her. !f earlier - I will see after she is docked - but should see sailaway.

Westie is rounding the tip of Douglas Island. The auditors arrive at 9 for the annual fire department audit so I may be distracted.

Looks like I'll miss Westie, she is at the south end of Douglas Island right now.

Suddenly starting to look nasty in Juneau.

Now that she has turned around, she is slowly moving towards her dock.

Having a zoom 2 days in a row is wonderful.

Just wish we had more people here to see it.

Guess others are too busy with their lives.

I lucked out as my doctor appointment isn't until 1 PM -- have to be on the road by 12:15.

Won't be long and she will be tied off.

I will be here tonight to watch her sailaway. They're getting to be a precious few now.

Couldn't see Zuidy on NY Harbor cam - maybe later - it was panning.

It's a long way from the NY webcam to Brooklyn. Except sometimes for QM2, they generally don't train the camera on ships there until departure time.

It's a shame she's there instead of Manhattan as we then could expect to see it on the Portny cam.
