Has anyone with little ones been on the Bumper Cars on Anthem?

We have one that will be 4 years old when we go in January and I don’t want to mention bumper Cars if she won’t be allowed on.

Crossing my fingers she would be allowed on as a passenger with me.

Was great to hear she could do IFly, anyone taken their little ones on that?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can advise

We were on the Anthem a few weeks ago and if I remember under 6 had to be with an adult

Thanks for the quick reply Dan. As long as she can go with me we are good. One of those don’t want to set her up for disappointment by telling her it’s an option when it’s not.

Hope you enjoyed your trip!

5 years old and accompanied by a parent/guardian

42 inches to drive alone

You can locate the info here:

I've seen the crew check the seapass for actual info on the age. Also, please be cautious, I have seen 'whiplash' type injuries and bumps and bruises especially on littler riders due to collisions; their bodies may not be strong enough to take a hard T-bone hit. YES, I've seen some hard hits first hand. It's fun if you're prepared and you're an adult who knows what to expect.

Your child's age is verified on boarding and will be linked to her sea pass account. The sports staff member at the entrance of the bumper cars can check the sea pass account if they feel you are lying about your child's age.

No, your child will still be four as can easily be verified by her sea pass card. If she somehow gets on and is accidentally injured, you wouldn’t have a leg to stand on.

Our son was 4 on our Anthem cruise, and we didn't even try to get him on the bumper cars because we knew the rules. Next cruise he will be 6 so he'll go on with one of us. RCI has these rules for a reason no offense.

We were on the Anthem in July. Our son turned 5 in April and is about 44 inches tall. They measured him and then looked up our room on an iPad both times we used the bumper cars. I had to ride with him, which is what we preferred—You do get thrown around a bunch and I held on to him the whole time.

We also did iFly and my 5 year old did not want to do it after watching the video. However, after watching his brother, parents and grandfather do it, he quickly changed his mind. They were super accommodating and let him join the next group and he absolutely loved it.

It was his favorite part of the cruise!

re: iFly

I saw really small children doing it, and asked our instructor about it. He said that they just adjust the force of the windstream.

(I pictured the poor kid being blown up and out through the top of the tube! :o :D )
