Anthem Oceanview Cabins Near Casino

I would like opinions on Cabins overview near casino. I concerned about noise and smoke smell.

I haven't been on Anthem yet. I usually book an ocean view room but since a balcony was the same price as an ocean view room I booked a balcony. Had the ocean view been less expensive and those rooms on the same deck of the casino came up I wouldn't have booked them. I have never been on a ship on any line that had rooms that close to a casino. It's logistically incorrect. The casino is only open at night on port days and the foot traffic, noise from the slots and just overall loud conversation has to be an issue. I would rather a room over the theater which I booked on another line in the past because there isn't any noise once the show is over. As a rule I avoid rooms under the pool deck and buffet and by the casino. The casino is the one venue that's open all night.

Look at the deck plan. The only entrances to the deck 3 stateroom corridors are by the fore and aft elevators. The staterooms do not share any walls with the Casino/Music Hall area. The noisiest area would likely be near the Music Hall. Smoke smell should not be an issue because the Casino smoking area is not anywhere near any of the elevators.

Foot traffic should be very light in the deck 3 stateroom corridors.
