Izumi Habchi Oasis of the Seas

I was wondering if the Izumi Habchi grill is like going to Benihaha type of restaurant.

I really enjoyed it! Only 8 seats at each grill and only 3 grills so make reservations ahead of time. It fills up quickly.

FYI, we made reservations before boarding and checked them again upon boarding. They had us in the regular dining side,. We were able to change it, and enjoyed our meal. You might confirm everything as soon as you board, as it was very busy.

Izumi Hibachi on Oasis. We were there 2 weeks ago. Made reservations the first day.

We were just on Oasis last week and we enjoyed the hibachi side of Izumi. It is very similar to Benihana. The chef did some tricks as he was preparing the food but he explained he can't use fire because it's on a ship so they have to be careful. The cost is $30 pp for one main course meat and $35 for two meats. We enjoyed the ice cream dessert, it was three small balls of different flavored ice creams encased in a thin layer of dough.

We did it on the 11/7 sailing and had a great time. Very entertaining chef and the food was delicious.
