Kauai Sunset Dinner Cruise

We are planning on a Sunset Dinner Cruise on Kauai. The cruise leaves from Kekaha which is 27 miles from the Cruise Port. What is the best mode of transportation to get there? Taxi cost?

Taxi cost?

The Taxi Fare Finder website quotes the average cab fare from the ship to Kekaha to be $107. one way.

We also are doing a dinner cruise while in Kauai. We booked through Blue Dolphin Charters and when I asked how far from the port they were they said about 30 minutes and told me that a couple had taken a taxi and it cost them $60 one way. We are renting a car which is cheaper than a taxi for the day.

I also found out there is Uber for about between $35 to $45 one way.
