Would it be cheaper to leave the car at the Hotel (which they said would be fine as we are staying their the night before) versus parking at the terminal? What would you do? Almost anything is cheaper than parking at the port for $40/day plus tunnel toll. Get quotes from a car service like Dial7 or Carmellimo or Secaucus Taxi.

Would Uber be an option?

We r using the Port Imperial parking lot at $16/day and taking the ferry to Manhattan. Then it's supposed to be a 12 min walk to the cruise pier. There is also a train that runs to the city. 138 east might be able to give u details. They helped me decide on a plan.

We are also sailing on that cruise and staying at a hotel in NJ the night before to save $400 terminal parking. You can get an Uber to the port for about $30-$35.
