Wheelchair tire covers

Has anyone had to use these? I am not even sure where to purchase them. I've been asked to cover my wheelchair wheels with special "slippers" before I enter a palace in St. Petersburg. I'll be using my Wheelchair88 chair (foldawheel) and the tires are 10" and 8".

I think it's St. Catherine's that the OP is talking about. I was told by our tour guide that we'd have to have them for my husband's scooter. I haven't been able to find any for his scooter, BUT I found them for wheelchairs. Just google wheelchair tire slippers and you'll find them. Amazon has them as well as other places.

I was not allowed to use a rollator or scooter in Catherine’s Palace and no wheelchairs or rollators are permitted in the Faberge Museum in St Petersburg. If I am not mistaken, neither wheelchairs nor rollators or scooters are permitted in the Riskmuseum in Amsterdam.
