Floatplane - Lake Landing

I am having trouble re-locating a floatplane tour I saw when doing my research on excursions. It described a lake landing and then being able to stand on a pontoon for a while to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Much appreciated for any suggestions of what tour I may have been looking at.

Problem is I am not sure if it was Juneau, Skagway or Ketchikan.

Ketchikan: A float plane tour to Misty Fjords

I did Island Wings with Michelle in Ketchikan this summer. We landed on a lake in Misty Fjords with plans to walk on shore. Well, there was a bear on shore so we stood on the pontoon and watched the bear for a few minutes. A great memory!

Not all Misty Fiords float planes do a landing during the trip (not just the end of the trip). Make sure you ask about this. I know Island Wings does.

This is in Ketchikan.

Island Wings did a fijiord landing rather than a lake on our trip. We got out for a while on a nice large floating dock. Not sure how many people would be comfortable standing on a float. Pretty narrow.

Standing on the plane's float, when I did it, contributed to the entire experience. Would I do it now as a less stable cruiser? No. And, I'd regret that loss of my confidence to do so.

DO WHAT ONE CAN DO NOW WHEN ONE CAN DO SO!
