Day Resorts

Not something I've thought about. Are they really worth the money, especially if you don't swim? Whilst DH is not mean with money he wants value for it so which, if any, of the resorts would you suggest?

Any reason you can't just go to the beach, if that's what you're after? You can rent loungers/umbrellas almost everywhere...and there are some bars/grills for food. Restrooms are on most beaches, so that's covered.

You can do a beach day without spending much at all! If the beach isn't your "thing"...walk around the city...hit a few casinos, shop, eat....or take a tour.

I was curious about the concept of a day resort. People seem to really like them and that was why I asked the question. For what we want I think they would be a waste of money, although I do like the idea of food and drink being available.

I have been looking at day resorts for our November cruise on Eurodam. I found Marriott has several in Aruba and they include food, drinks, beach chairs, etc. as well as the pool area. We will probably do one of these. :D
