Hello!

Need advice on a good inexpensive place to eat, drink, and maybe chill near the Wailea Beach Walk in January.

My 86 year old Mom is part of our party of seven and we will be in beach attire.

Thank you for your suggestions!

"Wailea" and "inexpensive" are not synonymous. Wailea is one of the high-end resort areas of the island. Kihei, which is close by, may be more of what you are looking for here.

Agree. The less expensive places will be in Kihei, but they may be a little off the beach. But easy to get to.

There are a number of good restaurants in Wailea, particularly in the Wailea Center. But not the cheaper types.

I live on Maui. In Wailea, I’d recommend Pita Paradise. It’s a casual sit down with great Mediterranean food. It’s a 5 min drive from the beach, easy (and free) parking. You could also venture to Kihei and try Cafe O’Lei. Both a great options.
