Carnival Panorama to set sail in September 2019

Was just looking at what to book next year and the splendor does not have any other trips planned after it’s last one on August 31st. So I’m just guessing here but seems like that’s when the Panorama will take her place.

I believe Splendor is being repositioned to Australia.

The Splendor indeed will be repositioning to Australia but not before being dry docked.

Not much info yet as to when Panorama will get to Long Beach or the itineraries, they are supposed to be announced later this month.

That would be wonderful timing for me! I was looking to do that route, and would prefer that it was on the new ship, during a off-peak season.

John Heald posted that itineraries will be coming out tomorrow.

It was stated in previous threads, Panorama will be delivered to Carnival on Oct. 31. Also stated there will be no Europe sailings or a TA. There has been some speculation on the route it will take to get to Long Beach.

I would not count on it being moved up that far. Even for something that takes nearly 2.5 years to build, moving up the completion 2 months is a heck of an acceleration. If Fincantieri is able to pull it off, it probably is the result of another one of their yards having another project pushed back, and it being early enough to where the sections can be built separately before being united at the “primary” yard.
