No Neptune lounge at all. Pinnacle grill only on departure morning. No special departure lounge when we booked it in the Rotterdam in 2016. We didn’t get the afternoon tea. We either ordered it too soon, or too late. We also didn’t get the bathrobes. They did give us a nominal credit for them. They would have cost more if we bought them outright, than the measly credit we got. Laundry was fabulous, and initial beverage was two bottles of wine, and two bottles of liquor. All full sized. From a specific list.

So if it excludes Neptune suites, who is it for? Vista and Signature suites??

It's for any other category, including inside cabins. The reason Neptune Suites are excluded is that some of the perks, like laundry, are already included in NS perks. There is a different package for those in a Neptune Suite.

Starting at $289. Does it depend on the length if your cruise. Has anybody taken it for a 26 days cruise? If so, how much did it cost? We are in an SS and i am trying to work out whether it is cheaper to just buy the laundry package and pay for drinks and a Pinnacle Grill dinner.

Details on the Suite Amenities Package and two others:

Well-Being and Suite Packages Pamper Holland America Guests.

Promoting relaxation and well-being, three
packages provide guests with more ways to customize their cruise vacation. The Well-Being Package, Suite Amenities Package and Suite Elite Package feature select combinations for fitness, luxury and revitalization.

“As the needs and expectations of our guests continue to diversify, we, in turn, continue to vary our offerings that entertain, educate and energize,” said Richard D. Meadows, CTC, executive vice president, marketing, sales and guest services. “These packages further enhance luxury cruising for our guests that are wanting an exclusive and personal experience.”

Well-Being Package

The Well-Being Package promotes rejuvenation through the Greenhouse Spa and fitness center. One fitness session is included which guests can choose from a class schedule while onboard. Guests select either a fifty minute facial or massage treatment from a collection comprised of a La Therapie Facial, an Elemis Aromapure Facial and a Swedish or an Elemis Deep Tissue Massage.

Guests will also enjoy an advanced revitalization treatment with an Alpha Capsule session which combines dry-heat sauna, vibratory massage and soothing aromatherapy. Unlimited access to the hydro pool and thermal suite is added with a souvenir monogrammed bathrobe for each guest. At a preferred time, a platter of sliced fresh fruit is delivered daily. The Well-Being package starts at $299 per person on seven-day sailings.

Suite Amenities Package

The Suite Amenities Package offers special suite-like services for guests booked in staterooms other than suites. Either high tea or cold canapés are delivered to each stateroom daily as well as complimentary laundry and pressing through the length of a sailing. Guests also enjoy an Explorations Café coffee card for ten drinks and a daily DVD selection from the video library with hot popcorn. For an evening of fine dining, a dinner for two is provided at the Pinnacle Grill restaurant.

Fresh flowers, pillows à la carte and a beverage set-up with two bottles of wine and two bottles of liquor are prepared along with two souvenir monogrammed bathrobes in each stateroom. Special disembarkation including luggage pick-up and departure at leisure is offered with access to a disembarkation lounge with refreshments. The Suite Amenities Package starts at $285 per person on sailings up to 10 days.

We were able to book the Suite amenities package for only one of us a few years back. We didn't want 2 bathrobes, so asked about single pricing. It's possible that it will vary depending who takes your call. The other amenities remain the same, 2 bottles of wine, 2 bottles of liquor, canapes, etc. When you book the double for 2 people, you do not get more wine or alcohol.

We were in a SS suite on Zuiderdam in July and never saw this package offered, either before or during the cruise (and we booked direct with HAL).

Actually, I thought the amenities for a Signature Suite were kind of skimpy, other than a much larger cabin.

We took it for the 35-day cruise. It was between $600 and $700. If you order the items separately, it's about the same cost. We'd bought it for the "Special Disembarkation Procedures" thinking we'd get escorted to the gangplank like we did on the Grandeur, but were disappointed in that part of it. I got our description and quote when I emailed ship's services.

You also get a better selection of alcohol when purchasing everything separately. As it turned out, we didn't drink all our alcohol. We visited medical twice, and were told not to drink alcohol both times.

Having been in both Signature and Neptune suites, the Signature suites are almost as large as the Neptune. Having recently compared the Neptune to the Vista Suite on Princess. The Vista Suite is a little better. We got a free night in their specialty restaurant, free laundry, and one free mini bar fill up (our choice). On the Neptune Suite, we got the access to the Neptune Lounge, one free bottle of wine in the room that they wouldn't swap for something better, and a reception on embarkation day. They also had an honor bar in the Neptune which mean we had to pay for the drinks.

Standard verandas are 9 feet wide, Signatures are 13.5 feet wide, and Neptunes are 18 feet wide, so Neptunes are 33% larger than Signatures.
