Photo Tour Of Norwegian Spirit 2018

So, I have been procrastinating on doing a comprehensive review of my recent 10-day cruise on the Norwegian Spirit. In the meantime though, I thought I'd share a bunch of photos if anybody is interested? Maybe talking about it will get the creative juices flowing for my full review lol!

I apologize for the quality of some of the photos. I woke up at 5:00 am one morning so I could take many of these shots without people in them. But it was still very dark outside and the fluorescent lighting alone wasn't kind. Also, I hadn't drank any coffee yet.

Should we begin in the atrium? Click any photo to enlarge.

The Cafe is on lowest level of atrium (Deck 7). Shops on Deck 8.

Champagne Charley's on Deck 8.

Next up is Henry's Pub which we really enjoyed. Stopped there for at least one drink every night before dinner. It felt authentic, almost like not on a ship.

And the Blue Lagoon where snack food is always available. We stopped here a few times for pretty decent chicken wings after we got back onboard from a long day in port. Although the "hot" sauce was kinda mild... and had a slight BBQ flavor.

Moving forward on Deck 7, we enter the Shanghai Bar.

Right off the Shanghai Bar is the video arcade. When the Spirit was Superstar Leo, this space used to be private karaoke rooms.

And the casino. We didn't gamble at all on this cruise.

Boarding Spirit for the first time in less than two weeks now. She seems to have one of the most impressive atriums around.

I think "eclectic" would be the best way to describe the decor. There is a substantial Asian influence remaining from the Superstar Leo days. However, certain areas have more of an old-school ocean liner vibe with brass, rich wood veneers and faux wrought iron railings.

The Spirit looks exactly like it did in 2010 when we sailed her out of Boston for a 15 night cruise to the Caribbean. She was our first cruise and we loved her. Would love for her to come back to New England. Favorite ship yet.

Let's check out the specialty restaurants?

Le Bistro was closed at 5:30am but you get the idea!

Shogun does triple duty as a Chinese restaurant, teppanyaki, and sushi bar.

Did you eat at any of the specialty restaurants? Booked let bistro, Cagney's and hoping to get the tappanyaki once onboard. Was it difficult getting booked into this onboard if you did? The Italian which seems to be part of the buffet doesn't appeal to me! Thanks again

I've never had any problem booking Teppenyaki after boarding on the Spirit. We usually do it first thing.

Sorry, we did not dine in any of the specialty restaurants. Went to Windows or Garden Room every night.

Yay! Great pictures! Did they do the laundry bag special, if so, what day? We will be staying in Rome a couple of days prior to the cruise and will need to do laundry at some point. ;p

Yes, there was a $19.99 laundry bag special. We received the promotional flyer on the 4th night of our 10 night cruise. The bag was collected the following morning, no later than noon.
