MS Oosterdam

Hallo,i am looking for the Oosterdam 30 april 2018 and saw that there are no veranda cabins available anymore.

Even from the outside cabins is only 1 cat. available

Is 't this very strange, 5 months in advance ?

As far as i know it is not a charter.

HAL may be checking inventory because of guarantees.

Have your TA call and see what is happening.

I checked one of my favorite websites that often shows more availability than HAL's website. If I am looking at it correctly, there is a 12 day cruise for this ship as well as a 27 day longer cruise. For the 12 day, you are correct, they are showing no balcony in any category. However, for the 27 day leg they are showing availability in most, if not all, categories. There are far more experienced cruisers on this board than I, however, it may be that they are holding cabins for those who want to reserve the longer cruise. It may be worth calling HAL or your TA to see if one of those cabins might be a possibility for you if you are only interested in the 12 day.

If it were a charter, it would not be visible to the public. It is too soon to be assigning guarantees.

Being part of a longer cruise is the most feasible answer, and that fact certainly complicates seeing available cabins. That issue would be my guess.

Thanks for the answer . I will keep an eye on the HAL site.But for the moment ,even the 27 day cruise is not available for verandacabins, (at least in the Netherlands).
