Leaving Seattle

On the NCL Pearl in 2014, my GPS recorded the track from Pier 66 to the mouth of the Strait of Juan de Fuca as 147 miles; 6 hours 46 minutes at an average speed of 21.7 mph. I selected data points from the day's track to cover departure to about the mouth of the strait. I run this GPS 24/7 while on cruises, train, and other trips. The cruise was an Alaska Seattle roundtrip and NOT through the inside passage. We departed about 4PM and reached the Pacific at about 10:45PM.
