Hi Everyone, I'll be on the Rotterdam in Feb and wondering if they have America's Test Kitchen and if so, is there a cost?

In checking the boards, it looks like they have a "TV Show format" and a "Class format" - which mentioned a price of $29 and that it fills up fast.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Yes they have ATK. Did not do the pay to watch or 'cook' class. Had lunch with 2 who wanted to participate but had to go on waitlist until 5 stars decided if they would partake in the class (they get one free). They were done on port days on our cruise. Ours were everything eggs and pasta. Spoke to someone who did get into the class. Said it was not like Culinary Arts cooking with chef, they never got to actually cook.

We had a few ATK sessions on sea days. They were packed. Go early. So many people were standing. It was overwhelming with that many people in one room. Check TV guide. They will have ATK and a sister show that you can watch in your cabin. They were on many times day and night. You may be able to catch them in your down time or while changing for dinner.

We were on the Rotterdam this month and agree with Gracecruise about the ATK free sessions being packed. No more samples of what they prepare. We did participate in a pay class on eggs. We DID get to cook but different from the previous Culinary Center you no longer can taste. Nor are you taken to the Pinnacle to sample a chef preparation of the food with wine which was true previously. The sampling issue has been defended under "meeting US Public Health standards" which may be true. Why they eliminated the food and wine after the class is most likely cost cutting.
