RCL App, what am I missing?

Loved the NCL app and downloaded the RCL app to help with planning. I found this. Is there another version that would include Harmony OTS? This can't really be "it" can it?

Harmony has a different app - royal IQ, which is only available on Harmony of the seas and Quantum class ships.

Yes, the roll out to other ships (and features) has been slow.

Right now, it is just Allure, Oasis and Serenade. It just got announced in November, and is supposed to be rolled out to the fleet by the end of next year.

It is a good idea to download the app now but understand that it has zero functionality until you board the ship.:)

Anthem is Quantum class, so it has Royal IQ, instead of the new app.

does this app let you commutate with other people that has the app?

that is the one thing we love about the NCL app you can text back and forth or even call each other

Not yet, that is supposedly coming.

Not as of now, but Adventure is in dry dock now and perhaps we will see the app on Adventure in February.

If you have (and will be communicating with) iPhones, then you may be able to use iMessage for free. I'd download the Royal IQ app now, but not pay for the texting until you test if iMessage works.

It can also be used to text others off the ship.;)

Then there's no need to pay the extra $8 fee for the Royal IQ texting, you can use all the other features for no charge.
