Dream Eastern Itinerary- Is It Worth It?

Not sure what you mean by worth it. If the cost is right and you are looking just to get away, that would suit most anyone’s needs who enjoyed Carnival. If you are worried about the ports, we love Key West and have yet to run out of things to do in Nassau or Freeport for that matter. Many chose to stay on board on those stops if they have been before. But that’s not us. Though on a recent getaway, out shore excursions were cancelled in both ports. So in Nassau we went to the Hilton but in Freeport just stayed on board. It was still a great trip despite those disappointment.

We have done this itinerary on the Dream and enjoyed ourselves but admittedly booked it for the Key West stop. Most complain about Nassau/Freeport but we found plenty to do although in Freeport you must leave the port area. Both had nice beaches not too far away with a quick taxi ride. Sometimes I think it's what you make it and if you expect a good time you will have a great time.

Is the Dream's eastern itinerary (Key West, Nassau, Freeport and three sea days) worth it? I feel like it would be a more relaxed cruise than other eastern cruises.

We used to like the western itinerary more(love Cozumel), but that changed after a while, the eastern itinerary is now our #2 after the southern route! We just dislike Belize, and are tired of Mahogany Bay and Grand Cayman!:D
