Regent Rome hotel for pre-cruise night

If you are just looking for a place to stay for one night that is convenient for the port and airport, may I suggest the Hilton that is connected to the airport terminal. If flying out, the hotel will shuttle you to T5 for North American departures. For arrivals, and for the other terminals, you can either get a shuttle or walk in the covered walkway. Super convenient, especially for early morning departures.

Even if staying longer, the hotel has a scheduled free bus service into Rome - pickup and dropoff is at Piazza Venezia.

In May 2018 it was the Westin on via Veneto, not far from the Spanish Steps. Very good hotel, we enjoyed the excellent room although breakfast in the ballroom was not the best.

We also stayed at the Westin in 2016 before an Explorer cruise. Large rooms, convenient also to the Borghese gardens. I agree about breakfast in the ballroom.
