Linda ... I have just watched the video of 18001 and cannot see what stairs you are talking about, there are Cabanas directly above you on the deck plan with no stairs to be seen.

It is just the outside area and this time I saw no steps. What in the world did I see? Not only that if I sitting down, no one can see me. Yikes - I knew I should not have had that second glass of wine! I appreciate your taking a look for me and now that I know no one can see in I am fine. I almost switched to deck 16 so it would be just cabins above us but we are going to stick with the starboard side since it is already booked and I am not sure if I want to change.

Anybody got any pictures of 14179 interior cabin? When I booked in 2016 it said it accommodated up to 4 passengers, but when I look now it shows it accommodates 2 passengers?

You could be screwed if you need 4 beds. Our cabin from two weeks ago was a 4 person when we booked in Dec 2015 but it ended up being a 3 person and no one ever contacted us beforehand. If you are aware of a change get on the phone and talk to MSC to see if they can switch your cabin.

Stateroom 14179 is marked on the deck plan with:

Thanks, I didn't notice that! Makes me feel better, still like 90 days away though lol.

MSC finally got around to changing the pic of the YC inside suite on their website, at least the US version. For a very long time the cabin was depicted by a rendering of a YC Deluxe Balcony Suite, confusing many and probably pissing off quite a few people that expected a cabin that large.

So what did MSC do? They now have a pic of a YC Inside Suite, but it's a wheelchair accessible cabin which is much larger and better appointed than the standard YC inside. Again this will confuse people and create false expectations. When will MSC learn?

Has anyone got any pictures/experience of interior cabin 15046?

When I booked it was listed as a 4 berth however the latest deck plan indicates only a 2 berth cabin. My TA has asked MSC and they said it was a 4. I have this nagging doubt that the land based msc call centre has got it wrong.

No pictures/experience here but the cabin is marked as 4 bed cabin in the deck plan on MSC website.

Might be interesting to know if the description on the deck plan is different to the actual cabin.

SirWolf where are you finding that one? as the deck plan that I see on the msc www at

https://m.msccruisesusa.com/en-us/Mobile/Discover-MSC/Cruise-Ships/MSC-Seaside/Deckplan.aspx indicates it as being a 2 berth

Thx

It does indeed look to be a 2 person cabin per the MSC website.

Oh, sorry... I looked at a deck plan of the MSC Seaside on the website of MSC in Japan(!) http://www.msccruises.jp/jp_jp/Images/msc_seaside_deckplan_tcm35-125340.pdf

Why are they posting different information on websites in different countries ? It seems confusing...

Japanese people are use to smaller and tighter places. They can cram 4 into a room that is set up for two Americans.
