need advice for upcoming Allure of the Seastrip

Hi Everyone!

I have really enjoyed learning from all of you on here. My family and I are going on the Allure of the Seas in April 2018. We have booked the "Race excursion" which sounds like a blast. My question is, we finish around 1:30pm it says and I am wondering if we will have time to go back to the ship to catch a bite to eat, then go to Maho beach? Or are there other beaches that might be fun to check out in time? I have been reading that traffic is back to get back to the ship. Don't want to miss the ship for sure!
