B2B x 2, & best time to book.

Recommended Posts

Hi all, have a B2B booked on Explorer 3rd Feb but was wondering what would be the best way to double that up to give 28 days for the future so as to have only 1 set of flights.

Would like to compare that to the cost of a P&O 35 day Southampton round trip to Caribbean.

Also, when would best price be available for a Caribbean cruise only, bearing in mind we usually book inside cabin and flying from Newcastle would be our preferred option but Manchester or Leeds? would be considered.

As another poster has said you would probably get the best deal from a travel agent, they have more flexible deals at their disposal, booking online is fine when it is a straightforward flight/trip but face to face negotiation is usually far more productive.

PS. Twenty eight day holidays sounds brilliant.

I've just replied to your other thread before opening this one.

I kinda presumed that you were looking at two 7-nighters back-to-back.

If you're wanting to tie two 14-night cruises together, late booking can be very risky.

Would 28 nights be simply repeating two 14-night itineraries?

Not something we'd go for, because we cruise for the destinations. But if you've not cruised the Caribbean before, on the smaller islands you could tour on one visit & do an activity on the other.

Hi John, we want 28 days partly for the Sunshine, as long as pos out of the North East winter and just one set of flights.

will be looking at 35 days P&O Jan 2020 as that will give equivalent of 28 days sunshine, and no fly.

Itinerary is not so important. On our first cruise including Venice...did not get off the boat!!!! On our second, including 2 days in Venice, got a 24 hour Vap pass; did Murano, Burano, Venice on the Evening and the Lido the following day. It depends how we feel.

Yes we would on duplicated ports find different things to do.

You cannot book 2 x 14 day cruises back to back on line We did it 6 years ago and to avoid paying for 4 flights you need to either telephone the booking dept or use a TUI Travel Agent/TA, which as said previously is the best way, to only pay for 2 flights Good Luck
