We are on the Bliss right now. Our kids are using this package. Basketball is included. Not skee ball or bowling. I games with tickets. It they have a great Mario Kart game at The Local that takes the package.

Can you tell us how much a game of Skeeball is on the Bliss? I would think prices are same/similar across the fleet.

Thanks!

Did they make the parents buy the package or was it available for just the kids?

You may be able to pre-book it under "Gifts" on the NCL site for only $8/per day versus $10. I was able to do it for our upcoming cruise on the Escape in October.

Hi,

Could you tell me exactly where under gifts this is located? I've looked all over and I can't find it. Only have dining, flowers, romance package, etc., but, where is the arcade pass? Thanks!

If it is available on your cruise it should be towards the end, in between "party package" and "diapers" :)

On the escape. Most yellow games were anywhere from 1.65-2.20 per play. The green games also same range. So do the math 4-5 swipes and it pays for itself. We have played a lot of pool at O'Sheehans. We have definitely gotten our monies worth

Can the kids win prizes (or tickets to exchange for prizes) just like regular arcade games or is your prize the entertainment?

Those games were not part of the unlimited package. Which is understandable. Kids would clean house just racking up the tickets if they could.

Thanks!! This is good to know. My daughter won’t play games unless there is a prize involved.

That's what I was wondering, idk if we would get money worth out of the regular games but would play alot of pool.

So to be clear pool in o'sheehans is included?

Is that fleet wide? We will be on the getaway

I would imagine that is fleet wide. It seemed to be anything that didn't give out tickets was included with the exception of the bowling in O'Sheehans. At 2.20 per game for Pool you will definitely get your monies worth if you spend anytime there. I want to say woe would play 4 or 5 games at a time and would let someone else play if we noticed someone waiting. There were also 2 pool tables so there was usually always one available.

It is very easy to end up with a huge bill for the arcade. The amount can build REALLY QUICKLY!

i second that! my son just thought everything was free on the cruise because he never saw anyone using money! he just kept swiping away!

It's $8 per person per day if you book before getting on the boat.

I didn't see that option before our cruise (Bliss). Mykids would have loved that option. I saw a sign for a package when we were there the first day, but it said to to up to the Casino for details and we didn't bother to look into it. We decided to just be mean and not let them go except one day. :)

  • 2 weeks later...

I was on the Escape sailing Sept 9-16 and I only found out about this pkg on the last day, UGH! We had so many sea days thanks to hurricane Florence that I finally allowed my kids some arcade time because they were getting bored. Unfortunately, it was our last sea day so didn't make sense to get it but quite a few kids in the arcade had it.

Alot of the fun games were the green swipe (including air hockey and basketball) but none that gave out tickets. Skee ball was 1.10 per game which wasn't bad.

I plan on buying this package for all the kids in the future unless they are strict about everyone in the cabin needing it, doesn't make sense for me to buy a package I will never use. If NCL is smart and just requires all the kids in the room to have it they will sell alot more packages AND keep more kids in the kid friendly arcade area and out of the public areas possibly getting into trouble. When my children aren't in splash academy they are with me and supervised but some parents just let their children run the boat freely and passengers are sometimes bothered by this (understandably). This arcade pass thing could cut down on that alot.

I have 3 upcoming cruises and this pass is available under the gifts section to purchase for only 1 of them (36 days away) so they must open it up for purchase close to sail. It also says LIMITED AVAILABILITY so they probably only sell a certain number of passes per cruise.

So thumbs up for the new arcade package it's a bonus for us parents and the kids, a real game changer!

Very odd this is not available on our December 8 2018 sailing on the Bliss online in any of the areas mentioned above. I even checked on the mobile app.

:confused::confused::confused:

It's on my Bliss November 3 cruise under "Gifts & More"

Try calling NCL maybe they can add it for you.
