Buying airline tickets for december cruise

Wife and I live in Houston and we are booked for a December cruise from Miami. When is the best time to purchase airline tickets? Right now they are so high. Waiting for Southwest to release their dec prices.

IF you are talking about near Christmas then they will only go higher!

We also have a December cruise and have had our tix booked for months now.

Prices have remained pretty much the same for the last couple of months.

We are also waiting to see what Southwest will offer but in looking at their fares for our route in November the prices are also not great.

I use Hopper to track flight prices. Set up a notification and it will tell you if you should wait or if prices are low enough that you should book.

Southwest’s new schedule will open up on May 31st. I’ve found that flights are usually at their lowest on the first day they open.

There's a "Cruise Air" board on this site. Might be best to ask your question there as well.

We always fly Southwest and the day they open up flights for our cruise we book.

Another vote for hopper or any other airline tracker. It helps and will notify you of price changes and trends.
