GAPaige Posted May 7, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2018 We will be in Nassau on May 28 from 10am-6pm. Will the ship and Nassau be on the same time (not sure if DST plays into this scenario)?
Rare starvenger Posted May 7, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 7, 2018 They should be on the same time as Bahamas is in EST and follows the same DST schedule as the US and Canada.

lab_love123 Posted May 10, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 10, 2018 As an added assurance, I also usually add my cruise destinations to the clock on my iPhone (World Clock tab). Android phones have a similar feature. I also put my port of departure. Even if your phone is in airplane mode, it still keeps the time and you just need to look there to verify. But right now the Bahamas is the same as the US ET.
SRF Posted May 14, 2018 #5 Share Posted May 14, 2018 You sip will tell you if there are any time changes. Even if you change time zones physically, the ship may NOT change the clocks. Make SURE you know the ship's time, before you leave. If you use your cell phone for time, either disable the auto time zone setting. Or leave it in airplane mode.
