Arriving in Seward

We have rented a car to drive from Anchorage down to Seward. I noticed online that the Hertz building is 0.4 miles from the ship. Not a problem for me but I am concerned about my older parents dragging their luggage. Does anyone know if I could drive up the ship, drop them and the luggage off then return the car and walk back.

Yes, you can definitely do that.

Certainly, you will be able to drop right at the building entrance. Then after you drop off, just walk back.

There is a large parking lot across from the Seward cruise terminal entrance. Last summer bags were delivered to the porters located in a tent on the side of the parking lot (it was very clear), and we dropped off our bags shortly after 11 AM. The OP will have no problems.
