What is below the Maasdam A-deck, the mid ship OV rooms near the aft open stair case? We will get engine noise from below?

What is below the Maasdam A-deck, the mid ship OV rooms near the aft open stair case? We will get engine noise from below?

That depends on the cabin. We had one about a month ago that was near the aft staircase and we discovered that there was a large hatch just below our cabin that was opened for loading supplies in port. Normally that would be a turnaround port and its loud when they are getting that hatch open and during loading. That problem is specific to one or two cabins, those at the end of the midships hallway just before it enters the lobby for elevators and stairs.
